The anticipation for spring and summer tours from our favorite artists is rapidly building, and with that being said, there’s lotttts of new music dropping left and right. Trying to stay updated on new music can be kind of tricky, so I’m here to put 5 of my favorite new releases that have been on repeat in one convenient little place for you! Spotify playlist will be linked at the bottom!
1. StayUp! - Dreamer Isioma
This is the first track off Dreamer Isioma’s debut album ‘Goodnight Dreamer’ which dropped last month. I cannot get enough of this album, but StayUp! has definitely been  my number one song on repeat lately.
2.  At the End of the Day - Wallows
Wallows teased this song at the end of last month with an acoustic version played by Braeden Lemasters, and the internet went crazy for it. It dropped earlier this month and it was accompanied with a music video as well, directed by Jason Lester. The song has such a nostalgic feel plus the video adds to that nostalgic feeling as well. It easily became my favorite Wallows music video. Click below to check it out!
3.  Mercy - Sir Chloe
‘Mercy’ is Sir Chloe’s newest single, and I was absolutely blown away by all the raw emotion that was poured into this song. This is definitely one of those songs that you HAVE to see live, and good news, you can! Sir Chloe will be in the OC/LA area  at The Constellation Room in Santa Ana on May 27th, 2022 and at The Regent Theater in Los Angeles on May 28th, 2022.  Don’t miss out!
4. Soft Side - BENEE
This is track 2 from BENEE’s latest EP ‘Lychee’ and she uses cyber pop to tell a  story of being attached to someone who has walls up but desperately wants to break them down to understand them better. You can’t help but dance when you hear this song, and you can hear it and the rest of ‘Lychee’  here in Los Angeles June 30th, 2022 at The Novo on her final night of her 2022 World Tour.
5. Did You Sleep Last Night? - LAUNDRY DAY
This is the first track of the band’s latest album, ‘We Switched Bodies’. This whole album is a beautiful emotional rollercoaster, but Did You Sleep Last Night? has been my favorite since the band released it as a single back in January of this year. I’m so excited to see all their new songs performed live this month at The Constellation Room in Santa Ana on March 26th, and if you’re in the LA area, they will be playing the night before at The Roxy on March 25th as well!
